Tooth-Colored Fillings

Traditional fillings are made of a material called amalgam, which consists of numerous metals and always leaves an obvious dark gray mark on the teeth it repairs. This is why our practice chooses to only use composite-resin based fillings. This material is just as strong and durable as amalgam, but it has one big advantage: it can be specially shaded to match the color of a patient’s teeth. With these fillings, we can easily restore small cavities and slightly damaged teeth without affecting the appearance of a patient’s smile.
